How to Sign Up for CashCrate:
CashCrate is a website that groups together surveys from various companies that can be completed for cash. They also provide what they call “offers”. Free offers allow you to perform a task or provide some personal information in exchange for free samples, gift cards, vouchers, and of course, cash. Paid offers require you to make a purchase of some sort, but they will sometimes offer you more money than what the provided offer costs to complete. [Sign Up Now]
How Do “Offers” Work?
100% Free Offer Examples:
As you can see, this is a 100% free offer from Nielson Digital Voice through CashCrate. In the short description, it tells you exactly what you need to do to get paid: Must use the app and leave it installed for at least 30 days. To accept this offer, you simply click the Nielson image, install the app, and then come back to this CashCrate screen & click “SUBMIT”. After having the app installed for 30 days, you will receive $3.00 in your CashCrate account.
There are also offers with more immediate rewards. With this one, there is no need to install anything or wait 30 days. You simply click the Credit Sesame image, go through the steps to get your free credit score, and then come back to CashCrate & click “SUBMIT”. CashCrate will immediately deposit $1.25 into your account.
Paid Offer Example:
Here is a prime example of a paid offer from Starfire Cigs. As you can see, the payout is much higher, but you have to make a purchase in order to receive it. If you were actually in need of electronic cigarettes, this would essentially allow you to receive $15 off your purchase. If you don’t want or need electronic cigarettes, the trick would be to find the cheapest possible item for sale on the Starfire website to make the offer worth it.
Does CashCrate Really Pay You?
Yes, CashCrate will send you a check once you reach the minimum payment threshold of $20.00. It will be sent on the 20th of the following month.
Tips for Beginners:
(1) Steer Clear of the Surveys. You will waste a ton of time answering general questions about yourself only to realize that you “don’t qualify” for them.
(2) Create a New E-mail Address Solely for CashCrate Purposes. When you go to complete the offers, you will have to enter your e-mail address almost every time, and of course you will receive many follow-up e-mails in the future because of it.
(3) Don’t Share Any Information That You Aren’t Comfortable Sharing. You are basically trading your personal information to businesses for cash, so be careful.
You can definitely make money with CashCrate, but it will work out to pennies per hour. In my opinion, it’s not worth it. They do offer an attractive referral program, but with it taking so long for people to build up account value, it becomes less appealing. If the surveys weren’t so frustrating to qualify for and they had a wider range of offers, CashCrate would have some potential.
You certainly won’t be able to come close to earning a full-time income with CashCrate, so if that’s what you’re expecting, don’t waste your time. If you’re looking for a legitimate, full-time “work from home” opportunity, consider building an an online business with Wealthy Affiliate.
